Kevin E. Bright, M.D., FACS | 

Diplomate American Board of Otolaryngology

Dr. Kevin Bright is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is also board certified by the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Dr. Bright is a clinical assistant professor at the Texas Tech School of Medicine and is the director of the El Paso Cleft Palate & Craniofacial Surgical Team. He recently finished serving as the Chief of Staff of the Sierra Medical Center.

Dr. David A. Reiersen

David A. Reiersen, M.D. |

Dr. Reiersen is board certified by the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.  He attended New Mexico State University where he graduated with Honors with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and continued his education at Boston University, graduating with a Medical Doctorate in May of 2010. Following this, he completed his residency training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Louisiana State University in Shreveport, LA. He practices in the El Paso area and currently holds a Medical License in New Mexico and Texas.

 

Brian S. Chen, M.D. | 

Diplomate American Board of Otolaryngology

Dr. Chen is a fellowship-trained Neurotologist and has a special interest in hearing, balance, and facial nerve disorders. He is a native of Irvine, California but moved away to the east coast to complete his undergraduate degree with honors at the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY and medical school at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. Following his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, he returned to California and completed an ACGME accredited Neurotology fellowship at the world-renowned House Ear Clinic in Los Angeles. 

 

He currently is stationed at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu and comes to El Paso 3-4 times per year to help us manage complex ear and base of skull pathology

 

His primary practice interests include cochlear implantations, hearing restoration, and chronic ear surgeries, treatment of balance disorders and acoustic neuroma surgery.

Vanessa Olivares, Au.D CCC-A | 

Clinical Audiologist

Vanessa Olivares obtained a Doctor of Audiology degree (Au.D.) at the University of Colorado at Boulder and completed her internship at Denver Health at Denver, CO. Vanessa is certified through the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) as well as the The American Academy of Audiology (AAA) . She currently holds a license in Colorado and Texas. 

Prior to entering graduate school, Vanessa was a full-time audiologist assistant for two years at Southwest Ear, Nose, and Throat Consultants. Throughout her academic career, she has sought out unique experiences to enhance  her clinical competency specifically in research. Vanessa worked at Dr. Anu Sharma’s Brain and Behavior Lab at The University of Colorado at Boulder with an interest in age-related hearing loss and cognitive function.

Sandra Flores

Sandra R. Flores, M.S., CNP-AC | 

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Sandra R. Flores is board certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. She received her education at the University of Texas at El Paso. She completed internships at various inpatient and outpatient sites such as Southwest ENT, Providence Memorial Hospital, and Children’s Hospital of San Antonio.

 

She is an affiliate of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) and the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association (ACPCA). She is also a member of the Cleft Palate Team.

Loren S. Hart

Clinical Audiologist

Loren S. Hart, M.A., CCC/A | 

Loren S. Hart is licensed in Colorado, New Mexico and Texas. He obtained his M.A in Communication Disorders, specializing in Speech Pathology and Audiology. Currently, Loren serves on the Texas Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiologists and on the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation. Loren Stephen Hart has more than 30 years of professional experience in clinical audiology and hearing aid sales and service.
