Dr. Westbrook moved to El Paso to start his ENT career as a general otolaryngologist in July 2013. He practices full-time at William Beaumont Army Medical Center and is a Major in the US Army. He provides part-time coverage at Southwest ENT. He enjoys the variety that comes with being a general otolaryngologist and performs all types of head and neck surgery to include oncologic (cancer) surgery, endocrine (thyroid, parathyroid) surgery, salivary gland surgery (parotid, submandibular glands), skin cancer, basic cosmetic surgery, otologic (ear) surgery and pediatric surgery. Dr. Westbrook is particularly interested in minimally invasive, transoral robotic surgery for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea as well as benign and malignant tumors of the throat. He is currently the only ENT physician in the area offering this level of surgical care.

He attended medical school at the Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, Maryland. After graduating from medical school in 2007 he completed a one-year General Surgery internship at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawai’i. He then moved to Tacoma, Washington where he completed a five year residency in otolaryngology.
