Dr. Herberg is a fellowship-trained Head & Neck Surgical Oncologist and Reconstructive Surgeon and board-certified by the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He is a Major in the United States Army and currently works full-time at William Beaumont Army Medical Center.
He is a native of Los Angeles, California, and moved to the east coast to complete his undergraduate degree cum laude at Yale University in New Haven, CT. He attended medical school at New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY, and completed his surgical residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. He next served 4 years as a General Otolaryngologist at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center in Ft Hood, TX before completing a 2-year fellowship in Head & Neck Oncologic and
Reconstructive Surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He recently moved to El Paso with his family in late 2021.
Dr. Herberg treats all disorders of the ear, nose, and throat. As the only fellowship-trained subspecialist in Head & Neck Surgical Oncology in El Paso, he also has a special interest and advanced training in the management of tumors and cancers of the head & neck.
