
Dr. Chen is a fellowship trained Neurotologist and has a special interest in hearing, balance and facial nerve disorders. He is a native of Irvine, California but moved away to the east coast to complete his undergraduate degree with honors at the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY and medical school at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. Following his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck surgery, he returned to California and completed an ACGME accredited Neurotology fellowship at the world-renowned House Ear Clinic in Los Angeles.
He moved to El Paso by way of the Army and enjoys utilizing his unique skill-set to help the Southwest community. He and his wife love the Southwest and are settled in with their three children.
His primary practice interests include cochlear implantations, hearing restoration and chronic ear surgeries, treatment of balance disorders and acoustic neuroma surgery.
