Babatunde Akomolafe

Dr. Akomolafe graduated from his first degree in Physiotherapy at College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Nigeria in 1991. He then continued his education at Belize Medical College, Central America Health Sciences, where he graduated with Doctor of Medicine in 2001. Dr. Akomolafe also received his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2006 from A. T Still University, Mesa, Arizona. He is a Board Certified Specialist in Geriatric Physical Therapy, by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties, has Advanced Certification in Vestibular Rehabilitation by the American Institute of Balance (AIB) and licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Texas.

 

Dr. Akomolafe has been providing physical therapy services for over 26 years within El Paso community. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Geriatric Session of APTA, Texas Physical Therapy Association, and Vestibular Disorder Association. Dr. Akomolafe has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, which include hospitals, homecare, and outpatient.
