ANDREA SWEETNAM

Andrea Sweetnam is a clinical audiologist certified by the state of Texas to practice audiology and dispense hearing aids. She specializes in pediatric audiology and hearing implants. Mrs. Sweetnam earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Texas and her Masters of Science in Communication Disorders with a specialization in Audiology from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Amongst other programs, Andrea Sweetnam participated in Pediatric Aural Habilitation specialization training at the UT Dallas Callier Center for Communication Disorders. She has over 16 years of experience in school, clinic and hospital settings. She is a member of the El Paso Cleft palate Team and actively participates in En Voz Alta, the local parent/family support group for children with hearing loss. She is also the parent of a child with hearing loss and cochlear implants and advocates for early identification of hearing loss and intervention in order to help children develop communication.
